We’re a serious critique group consisting of local writers meeting once a month to exchange writing experience, knowledge and detailed critiques. We were founded in 2009 by our fearless leader, the award-winning author, editor and writing mentor Zena Shapter. We enjoy writing and publishing books, going on writing retreats, and inspiring each other and the community to get creative.
The Northern Beaches Writers’ Group welcomes writers of any level and at any stage, you just have to be committed to the craft, with publication or republication as your ultimate goal.
